I smile for no one
Not one soul
except for my own
*
My happiness is my freedom
and mine alone
*
Though it does shine
rays of sunshine
upon passing faces
*
When I smile
I see wooden eyes ignite
Lit up with the warmth
of a fireplace
in a winter's chilly winds
*
I see sincere smiles widen
across wandering faces
that moments before
were blank expressions
*
A lovely chain reaction
of happiness
spreads like honey
Effortlessly sweet
*
I smile for no one
Not one soul
except my own
*
but when I smile
it is pure joy
it is radiant soul
