Solitary Life

An ode to seclusion

Sometimes keeping to yourself isn’t the worse thing ever.

Maybe the solitary life is really better.

It’s scary at first. There’s no one but you around.

In due time you won’t really care for who’s around.

Nothing and no one around so I can’t hear the noise.

Not worried if it creeps up on me. I don’t fear the noise.

There’s nothing here and no one there. I think it’s just me.

Perhaps the best way possible to live, do you trust me?

Me, myself and I. No acquaintances, just solemn me.

Not another soul in sight. Exactly how it oughta be.

Solitude is a plus way to live. Yes it’s very right.

I’m at peace with my solitary life.
