Soliloquy #1

This Is A Love Story

By BigPhazePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Await not, my love, for our time together is limited, like borrowed hours slipping through our fingers.

What untruth shall I weave to shield you from the painful reality?

As I lie devoid of a body, the funeral bell tolls, signaling the arrival of the reaper.

Here I lie, a mere corpse, and it is upon my grave that you must tread.

Within it rests my epitaph, an offering to bring you some solace amidst the anguish I have left behind.

The death bell tolls, but it is not your voice that answers its call. Goodbye, my beloved, as I bid you farewell.

Perhaps I exist now only in the realm of your memories, a lingering presence reminding you of the love we shared, eternally engraved within your heart and soul.
