Soldier Sworn to Secrecy
To Daddy

What did you achieve
being rude to me
all my life
since I was born
*
You were putting my body upside down
trying to flow the blood
into my brain
being convinced that it makes me smarter
*
You were beating me on the face
on my spectacles costing fortune
My thighs were bruised and violet
after your hand smashed on them
*
You were saying:
“I’ll beat you but it’s not enough
that’s why I have to repeat that
to stick in your mind
that you’re a bad girl
when you’ll be older
and will be remember it
forever
how the things were indeed”
*
But that was only your point of view
of me taking first steps
in telling you what matters to me
You never listen
neither then, nor now, nor in the future
Not remembering what you had done
to your own daughter
*
When I grew up, I thought you would change
into a loving parent
supporting the only child
but I wasn’t the only one anymore
So, you focused on your best and brightest
young and beautiful
and I was already a dirty carpet
for you
unscrupulous
*
You wanted me to die, to deprecate, to devastate
my body and soul
but we were never square
as I was born to decay there
*
in your house full of flies
Now I’m reborn in the unusual shape
to fight for my life
like a soldier you always wanted me to be
*
fledged in a female frock
the war is still going on
far from the fiendish foe
never knowing what’s really going on
