A Steamy, Natural Poem by Julie Lacksonen

The sun -

With inviting rays,

Whispers, "Feel me."

She leans her head backward

And accepts the gift of heat

She exposes her body,

Basking in the pleasure of the warmth

She rests with an ecstatic and content smile.

As she rises to leave,

She murmurs in anticipation,

“See you tomorrow.”

*

After a fitful night of sleep

Clouds interfere,

Depriving her body

Of the warmth and pleasure

She so longingly seeks

She sighs, with eyes cast downward

Murmuring in anticipation,

“Maybe tomorrow.”

*

An inviting, comforting voice,

With a warm tone,

Whispers, “Feel me.”

He approaches from across the room.

She leans her head backward,

And accepts the gift of heat

She exposes her body,

Basking in the pleasure of the warmth

She rests with an ecstatic and content smile.

As she rises to leave,

She murmurs in anticipation,

“See you tomorrow.”
