Soft, Pillowy Cubes of Decadence
I Love You, Marshmallows
Is there such a thing as too many marshmallows?
Marshmallows - that beautiful mixture of cornflour, icing sugar, liquid glucose and gelatine
Gelatine to give it that springy spongy consistency
Spongy consistency that makes it feel like you are biting into a cloud
Cloud flavoured with vanilla or strawberry
Strawberry and vanilla need to be eaten in two
Two at a time, one of each or two of one
One marshmallow is never enough
Enough is too finite a word to describe marshmallows
Marshmallows never lie or make you cry
Cry - something I often do when I run out of marshmallows

Marshmallows - I love you, you soft, pillowy, sweet cubes of decadence.

What a fun and crazy read. I love it. Digging deeper this poem is actually craftily and cleverly put together. It is not just a bunch of words about marshmallows haplessly thrown together you actually put some thought into this. Very good job here.
Nope. Nope nope nope. “springy spongy consistency” 🤣. It’s so funny to me that the things about marshmallows that appeals to most people are the things that makes me nauseous hahah. That light dusty coating. Oh my. Gotta go read the donut one again to feel better 🤣🤣❤️
