Snowflakes:

Sparrows seek refuge in denuded arbors, and cardinals weave their jubilant script.

The sunlight wanes in the encroaching dark, and waves crash in frigid, polar seas,

While snowflakes cavort on my nose, a seasonal hallmark.

Red robins take flight in the northern gust, and woolen scarves ascend on the wind's caprice,

As cardinals resonate with a festive canticle, their melodic joy never to cease.

Down hills, with frostbitten digits and toes, children hurtle on toboggans and skis,

In the revelry of snowflakes frolicking on my nose, nature's wintry symphony.

Dwellings aglow with holly and bows, and people savor peppermint-infused teas,

As cardinals, true minstrels, intone their gleeful verses with unrivaled ease.

In Mother Nature's hushed repose, crystalline lakes embrace the season's icy seize,

While snowflakes dance upon my nose, and cardinals unfurl their joyous prose.
