SNOW-GLOBE WORLD

Frosted Verse Challenge

By T. LichtPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

White, white snow... glitter, glitter, glitter,

Fall a'top this blackened world... flitter, flitter, flitter.

Drape your lengthy, lengthy arms across this giant globe,

Freeze it into a beauty like a classy, crystal orb.

Oh, faster faster, cloth the cars in silky bridal wear,

Dreary homes, bathe them, bathe them in glistening gold veneers.

Please, Please lace the eves with pointy icicles.

Lick it, lick it, yummy yummy tastes like popsicles!

Make some, make some, angel wings on blizzard blocked-off streets,

Snow ball fights, straight at faces. Dodge, Watch out! Retreat!

Oh! Thwack and slip down the slop with a reddened, reddened nose

Black boots nothing doing for the numb, numb frozen toes.

Head on home as the sun disappears and turns it all to ice.

Heated showers, tingling for hours, hadn't that snow-globe world been nice?
