Poems from my adolescent mind

Tiptoe through the snow

there's a blizzard in my mind.

Grab a shovel, and a pair of gloves,

just don't get left behind.

*

Now it's time for round two.

They're coming again and coming

for you.

Duck or dodge they'll get to you.

In this emotional stew.

*

North, South, West, East

No direction can avoid the beast.

They penetrate lead with

the greatest of ease.

Time to deal with it here in round three

*

Go ahead and open your head

you won't be safe till these

thoughts are dead.

Rolling like thunder is what we dread.

Tis the season to molt and shed.

*

Get ready! It's time to...

TRY YOUR LUCK WITH THE

VOLUME TURNED UP.

SIT BACK RELAX

AND SEE WHAT DEVELOPS.

I think I'm gonna have to take several trips around this to get my head going in the right direction. There seem to be personal allusions happening that the reader can make his own. It has a pleasing rhythm too.
