“Smile”

When you smile, I feel a spark, like static in the dark

A smile that steals away my heart and pours out as if a hearth

When our eyes touched the first time it was like lightning had left its mark

Now it gives that feeling as if a perfect storm has met a perfect park

I get lost and realize it’s only your eyes I feel on my sunrise

A gale of beauty that harkens to my star filled daze

A smile with those eyes I could spend a lifetime learning your ways
