Small town freedom,

Just a nod and a wave.

Prettiest smile

That little girl ever gave.

Offer up some sweet tea

And we'll sit a spell,

And talk about America,

Before the Towers fell.

Small town freedom,

Just a nod and a smile.

Porch swing out back,

Leaves raked in a pile.

Dogs chasing squirrels,

Kids in the yard.

Just a little slice of time

When life wasn't that hard.

Small town freedom,

Neighbors lend a hand.

Just as close as a step

To the Promised Land.

Rain in the Mountains,

Creeks running high.

Dance with the moon

And blow a kiss at the sky.
