Slip me into a coma.

Take me away

from this love affair

I’ve been having with pain.

Stop me from existing

in this bloody reality.

End my knowledge

of all things

unholy and impure.

Slip me into a coma.

I can’t breathe anymore.

There is always a foot on my throat

or a knife to my heart.

They hook me up to their machine

and drain me of everything.

Now I am standing here begging

to have it taken all away.

Slip me deep into a coma

so they won’t be able to find me again.

A place I can build a new world,

A place I can exile my sins.

Let me build this fantastical world

to escape the realities

of this unholy place.
