Sky

The sky and I

By Leon VuPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Bright sun,

Your warmth shears amongst these closed eyelids.

Flashes of objects pass as my eyes open

My view is greeted by a vast marine sky

Even through clouds of obscurity,

You have always remained

Entwined into this heavenly sphere

I renounce myself within this miraculous existence.

From the deepest depth of my inner body

My being rises to stay afloat with you

Upon the fertile valley of luscious marigolds

The golden floral horizon welcomes the falling rain

From afar,

I watch it in a motionless fraction,

The scene views like a painting on a canvas

This still photograph bonds me

The sky and I,

Together, we become whole of its entity.
