They try to tell us what beauty is
Why do you think they run a billion dollar a year biz?
Because they profit off of the insecurity of you and me
Whether you’re 20, 30, 50, or 80
Grow older with sophistication and grace
Your beauty is not defined
By your figure OR your face

True beauty shines from the inside out
Some show how ugly they are
As soon as they open their mouth
Thinking they’re pretty
When they really are ugly inside and it shows
Every time they act like Mean Girls
Or turn up their nose
Pay them no mind!
A quiet and gentle spirit within
And acceptance of your body without
Is a rare jewel worth seeking to find
So Smile Beautiful!
