Six

My life began changing so rapidly,

I lost all control.

College was pushing me over the edge,

I was a failure for not maintaining a

Toxic relationship.

My purpose for life

Ceased to exist.

In my darkest hour,

You were the light.

When I was a sinking into

The deep, dark, depressing depths

Of the cruel unknown,

You were my life preserver.

After many months of self discovery,

I came to find

The only way for my to grow

Was with you all along.

The moment our lips collided

For the first time,

It was in that moment I knew

This was where I was meant to be.

Growing and exploring with you has been

A new kind of adventure

That I never thought, in

A million years,

I would be lucky enough to embark on.

My mind has been enlightened to

New perspectives of positivity,

All thanks to you.

You encourage me to be the

Best version of myself.

Thanks to you,

I have met her,

And the meeting was long overdue.
