Sitting In Silence

When Silence Is Less Than Golden

Sitting in silence as the world passes me by,

Noone to talk to, or hear me cry,

Feeling sad and lonely like life in the dark,

Wondering if someone will help me to

make my mark.

Hiding the tears, a sadness unknown,

Lost and forlorn, in this world alone.

The snow finds my deep feelings that

time is not healing.

The soft white flakes hit the ground,

My eyes fill with tears, unable to sound,

Then I hear your soft voice call all around,

I now know I'm not alone, so I make a

sound.

I call out your name, and I see

your face.

It appears to me smiling gently

in this space.

Feeling comforted, I look around,

I am not alone, I have a voice,

Hear my sound.
