Siren's Call

The Love Between Aphrodite and Poseidon

Waves crashing on a the empty beach

The sun creating incredible warmth

There is no slow ascension into the ocean

Rip tide has torn me out into the deep

Blues and greens weaving a strong and beautiful tapestry

Pulled under by the soothing current

Swallowed into the astonishing peace

Finding out wonderous new things

Experiencing mind-blowing new emotions

Adapting to breathe under water

The roar of the waves are a distant hum

The pull of the moon and the stars are inevitable

Providing a harmony and balance that never existed

Lost sight of the now distant shore

The never ending rhythm of waves kissing the sand

Unafraid of the mysterious depths

Could easily slip through your fingers

Yet strong enough to hold up a ship

Excitement brews deep like a storm

As sure as the sun sets

The moon will guide the way

Tomorrow brings opportunity

Today we just float
