Sing Me A Lullaby

Sing it sweet, sing it slow

By Shelby SchwartzPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

As I lay Dying, Sing me a Lullaby

Wipe away the tears I cry

In my last moments, pretend you care

Be something steady in my life for once

As I lay Dying, Sing me a Lullaby

Sing from your Heart, even if you don't mean it

Sing from your Soul, even if it's as black as mine

As I lay Dying, Sing me a Lullaby

Make me feel loved, lie to me if you will

Just don't leave me alone in the dark

As I lay Dying, lull me to sleep,

With a Lullaby of lies.
