As she grins and moans in rehearsed abandon
My pupils dilate as I fixate—entranced
As my hand reaches down—soft-on-hard flesh-on-flesh
The sweat, the musk, and saltiness hit my lungs
As I swallow the bitter aftertaste of regret.

Thanks for reading!
Author's Notes: Sometimes sensations are toxic or can lead to toxicity. This, in case it wasn't apparent, is based on some of the sensations related to my addiction issues. Sadly, it is based on a true story.

Oh... a different sensual take on the sensational challenge! Loved this Paul!!
Oh, but regret embodies such an acidic, acrimonious taste....such a raw depth is found herein....
Damn. As always, I so admire your honest and vulnerable work. What a piece. Thank you for sharing the light and the dark with us, pal!
I'm so sorry Sir Paul 🥺 I admire your courage to write this!
A vulnerable piece, Paul. Lots of hard hitting emotions in those few lines. Nicely done.
Concise, punchy and thus effective. Great entry Paul! ☺️
Just thinking about this makes me think of an addiction counselor using it in a group session or not.
A thoughtful and honest reflection on a subject that is far too taboo!
Wonderful✨
Fabulous writing! Go Paul!
Wow vulnerable piece and definitely I contest that sensuality is not always great. I love hockey but can’t go to games due to it
Man! That was so good. Great flow and a great example of how to do the Challenge and make it effective.
Even if tinged with regret, that was beautifully sensual. Well done, and kudos for your honesty.
Another courageous dive into the pit. I applaud your commitment and bravery!
Ah, that last line, the shame and regret. Such a potent and vulnerable piece. So glad you allow yourself to write these feelings into words. And the fact that you share them is amazing to me.
