Silent Wings of Danger

Jamestown Canyon Virus Found in Mosquitoes: A Worldwide Alert

By Feumbana Njoya FatimatouPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the whisper of twilight, mosquitoes hum,
Bearing secrets, silent, as the day is done.
In their wings, a peril unseen,
The Jamestown Canyon virus, a shadowed glean.

From forests deep and waters still,
They carry a menace that can kill.
Across the globe, a cry we raise,
For vigilance in these fragile days.

No boundary halts their silent flight,
From dusk till dawn, from night to night.
A global call, let’s heed the plea,
To guard our homes, our land, our sea.

In the dance of nature, fraught with strife,
We must protect the gift of life.
For in the song of the mosquito’s flight,
Lies a warning clear, a call to fight.

Once the warning is sounded clear,
We must unite without a fear.
To research, plan, and swiftly act,
Protecting lives is now the pact.

In knowledge, strength, and cooperation,
Lies the shield against this infiltration.
For in the realm where dangers lurk,
It's unity that will make us merc.
