Silent the Moon

Glass ceiling

When was the last time

you looked up,

when did you think about the sorrow

that moved on,

angels' wings

together and apart

I kept you in my ocean,

memories

and long gone

clouds

in open sky

that turned with every season

heart snowed emotions

and the tide

brought your love back,

entered a gate

where bridges never burned

where nothing stayed the same,

and yet I knew tomorrow

would be in love with us

today

gone in a second,

back in twilight

and sundown smiles.

***

Can you find soul

magic and amber gift,

another wish to make,

find a star waiting to forgive

I know you still,

I listened to your heart,

when you said no words

I felt glass ceiling

in reflected laughter

and sundial,

your love runs

and looks back

where my soul garden

plays

on sunny branches, I forgive

the storms we passed

silent the moon

stepping

gentle tomorrow.
