Silent Stalker: Tribute to the Velociraptor
In ancient groves where shadows dance,
Where ferns unfurl in a verdant trance,
A creature stalks with silent grace,
The forest echoes with its pace.
Velociraptor, swift and keen,
A predator, a hunting machine,
With talons sharp and eyes that gleam,
In ancient woods, it reigns supreme.
Through dappled light and tangled vine,
It hunts its prey, a deadly sign,
A flash of claw, a sudden strike,
In shadows deep, it takes its hike.
Its feathers rustle, softly sigh,
As it prowls beneath the sky,
In search of food, it roams the land,
A relic of a time so grand.
Yet now, in dreams, we bring it near,
With words that paint its form so clear,
A creature fierce, yet somehow small,
In poems, it stands, majestic, tall.
So let us honor this ancient beast,
In verse and rhyme, let our words release,
The spirit of a world long gone,
Where dinosaurs once roamed at dawn.
