Silent Screams: The Writer's Struggle for Recognition

I pour my heart and soul onto the page,
Crafting stories and articles with care.
I seek an audience, a reader's gaze,
But all I hear are echoes in the air.

I publish my work with hope and pride,
Sharing my thoughts with the world outside.
But the views are low, the comments few,
And I wonder if my words ring true.

I see others rise with great acclaim,
Their works lauded, their names renowned.
And yet, here I am, in quiet shame,
My words unheard, my voice unbound.

I know the path to success is long,
And the journey fraught with doubt and fear.
But I cannot help but feel alone,
Lost in the silence of my own despair.

So I keep on writing, day by day,
Hoping that someday my words will find their way.
Until then, I'll keep on screaming in the dark,
