In the quiet of the night,

when the world fades away,

I send a silent prayer,

for the strength to face the day.

With every breath I take,

I seek the peace inside,

hoping for a little grace,

to carry me through the tide.

A silent prayer,

whispered in the dark,

With hopes that it finds its way,

Into God’s heart.
