When it comes to emotions, I believe the best approach is this: You can still appreciate the things you like, but you must allow yourself to not have them for the time being. Similarly, you can still oppose things you dislike, but you have to allow them to exist.

It's much like loving someone: When they're present, love them fully. If they insist on leaving, you must let them go. Don't be paranoid, don't pester them, and don't disturb them. When they come into your life, love them well. When they leave, offer each other your blessings.

Meetings may not always have a neat ending, but they are always meaningful. On the path of chasing the moon, we are always illuminated by its light. Sometimes, simply encountering certain people is a blessing in itself.
