Two short abstract poems by Versahi
Climbing away
Climbing
Shadows peel away and fall like dark paper
Soft pink
The edges fade
A bead of water, being carried upwards
Still surface cool
Room below fades into the distance
The chair where I sat and swayed still
Dust settles
As orange sunset bathes the land
Glory of sky dawns
On all I leave behind
As I ascend
Intimate
I want the perfection of intimacy
The heat of your skin on mine
Melting into each other
In bliss of body never ending
But we know it all ends
When the door closes
About the Creator

For a good many years, writing has been a therapeutic escape for me, helping to make sense of the complicated emotions. It allowed me to process and create something I could be proud of. Please enjoy!
