Shine

Letters to LA

By iamnathoPublished 6 years ago 1 min read
I'll never tire of LA Sunsets

Like moths to a flame

Dreamers with nought to their name

Flocking to you

O, City of Angels

You Shine, shine, shine

Turn raw ambition into dime

But keep this one thing in mind:

Even lost Angels

Especially lost Angels

Still Shine, shine, shine

Unremarkable by day

Enchanting at sunset

Shadow trails moonshine

Shimmering, splendidly,

You Shine, shine, shine

For it is darkest before dawn

And stars don't shine in the day

To get to the Light

First you walk through the night

And that's when

You'll Shine, shine, shine.
