Rain falls on each one of us
Pain fills up our skies
Ills we carry with us
Arbitrary truths and lies
Joy is always behinds us
Employ its servants wise
Counterfeits seek our love
Sour us with its spies
Hands will seek what they need
Plans get sowed and some will reap
Offset by desires
Liars hunt us in the deep
Eyes hide our true nature
Disguise your pain and toll
Endure the desultory
Purgatory for the soul
In the depth of your sadness
When all has fallen away
Recall with glimmer and hope
Shimmer in the grey
Become the morning sunlight
Adorning loving eyes
Look up and part the clouds
Rook from life’s cruel lies
Your eyes may carry sadness
Recognize they carry light
May you see always brightness
Free from fears in the night
