Legend of Robin Hood

In the legendary Sherwood Forest

Good and honest outlaws have a quest

The women and children they must save

From a sheriff neither good nor brave.

Little John with his stick brings order to the outlaw

Robin in the creek: For a lesson, let's go!

But when, unluckily, Little John fell into the water

Laughter erupted instantly, and friendship was born soon after.

Friar Tuck and his bees make a divine elixir

Wine or mead, which will be the winner?

But if the wind is buzzing, don't trust the logic of things

It's because of this astonishing drink that your throat stings.

Robin is an exceptional archer

With targets, with hearts, a charmer

Like Richard, he has the Lion Heart

The prince of thieves has a soul apart.

Lady Marian is a beauty without equal

Sapphire eyes, raven hair, fatal

She helps Robin and his companions

She, too, has the heart of a lion.

In legends down the centuries

There's always a great love story

Sealed like Marian and Robin Hood

On the paths and trees of Sherwood.
