Shea Butter Daily
Daily is the return to life when life seems to play the Blues

Shea Butter Daily,
Black girl so blue
She wants to go home
And stand under some hot water.
Undo that tight ass bun
Care free is the hair she grew
She took off her bra, it was royal blue
Looked at herself in mirror,
Her armor was steel cool
Washed off the scent of microaggressions
Strong was the perfume of her shampoo
Shea butter,
Black girl so blue,
She wants to go home
Blast Eryka Badu and light incense.
Cleanse her soul-
Make it out of the baritones, and on to a higher note she knew
Meditate, and like a plant she grew
Beyond the vibration she flew
She got into that water that turned ocean blue
Open the windows and shined her light on the moon
Then put on a little bit of Shea butter
Daily is the return to life when life seems to play the blues.
