She would be

the elf on the tree

Adumbrated story

She was fatigued of fatuous family members

Nudiustertian past prattled

Draping leafy gown gazed at branch limbs

She longed for some serendipitous opportunity to sweep her from the tree

But her high hopes rose no higher than an ant hill after a storm

She suffered from a mad touch of kakorrhaphiophobia

and because of this, was in a particular state of paralyzed procrastination

surreal poetry

I personally love everything about alliteration. And some of the words you used had me do a deep dive into the dictionary. I wrote a story a short time ago about phobias, but I didn't know *that* one!

This has such a whimsical yet wistful feel! That last line? Feels like she’s frozen in time, waiting for something that may never come. A clever and unique piece! ✨

Well-wrought! Many fear failure, but it is a path of illuminating failures that inevitably lead to success, by whatever measure the heart holds dearest.

I think some of us have twinges of Kakkorrhaphiaphobia at one time or another... and adumbrated is such a cool specific word. Fun!
