She left in love
A supple grace

I sit to the right of my caretaker,
A taciturn, yet forthright individual.
She pulls her cloak
Of petals closer around her,
A study of sublime slowness.
“Where are you going, my love?” I ask.
“Beyond,” She replies...
I have seen her everywhere since then,
A graceful infinitude of tulips.
