“She Learned to Whisper Back”

“She Learned to Whisper Back”

By ElliePublished 9 months ago 1 min read

She used to sit in the silence,

hoping someone would hear the noise inside.

But no one ever did—

so she learned to whisper back.

The world asked her to smile,

while storms lived in her chest.

And she did smile—

with lips trembling,

but eyes brave.

She wasn’t loud,

but she was strong.

She didn’t shout her pain,

she stitched it into poems.

She walked through shadows,

not to escape the dark,

but to prove she could still carry light.

And now—

the battle has been declared.

She says,

"I may cry, but I won’t break.

I will not lose — InshaAllah.
