She is a Diamond

Refined by Pressure, not by Perfection

She is a diamond.

A diamond in the rough-

and that’s more than okay.

In fact, it’s beautiful.

Her jagged edges

are sharp enough to cut through anything in her way-

every obstacle, every storm.

Relentless,

just like the world that tried to wear her down,

testing her with an immeasurable weight of pressure.

But even diamonds can break.

She was no exception.

Yes, there were moments the world fractured her.

Still-

being broken is often part of becoming whole.

And yet…

she never crumbled.

She is not dirt.

She is not debris.

She is a diamond in the rough.

To smooth her out for shine alone

would rob her of her real brilliance.

Her beauty lies in what she survived-

and still, she sparkles.

To withstand pressure and still emerge gleaming-

that is power.

That is grace.

She is simply beautiful.

She is a diamond.

Still rough around the edges-

and still, undeniably radiant.
