She Discerns

She discerns, with sympathy understood,

Actions matching emotions, as she should.

A searching mind for fulfillment's quest,

Becoming willing to accept life's behest.

Gifts of unanswered prayers, they provoke,

Patience, stillness, serenity evoke.

Insight into why, growth must continue,

For stagnation's pause could be untrue.

Realizing she can't return to dreamland's door,

She cries out to save herself from despair's roar.

From the pain that keeps on going, like a storm,

She prays for calm, as the sun breaks the norm.

Through strife, she stands mighty and strong,

Her willingness to move on, where she belongs.

Pressing on day by day, despite life's throw,

Knowing now, it's ok not to be ok.
