A Poem

By Alexia AceboPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Destiny.

Determined by character.

Diverging with company of other sorts,

sorting my way through,

developing and depressing, suppressing anxiety.

Why.

Why, for I know the plans I have says,

says He.

Says me, needs He.

Knows He.

Woe is me is no longer the option or key,

no longer a crutch but a fee.

Setting out is hard but free,

she will be.

She.

She.

She.

Embraced by He. He who loves abundantly without return.

He gives her space, she makes mistakes, she takes.

Until she can no longer fake the centeredness of her world.

She.

She.

She breathes.

Breathes in the love only He can give. Lives out the life only He can provide.
