Shattered Dreams

A love that was once whole, now torn apart

By Angelina w. (Poet)Published 3 years ago 1 min read

The love we shared was like a precious gem,

So rare and bright, but now it's just a scar,

Our hearts are broken, and our dreams now seem.

The laughter and the joy, now just a stem,

Of memories that once filled us with delight,

The love we shared was like a precious gem.

A love that was once whole, now torn apart,

By words unspoken, and the wounds that start,

Our hearts are broken, and our dreams now seem.

We thought our love would stand the test of time,

But now it's gone, and we are left to climb,

The love we shared was like a precious gem.

So let us take the pieces of our heart,

And try to find the love that once did start,

Our hearts are broken, but our dreams still gleam.
