i will know that i am healed
when you no longer
drip from my mind
in ink
into my fingers.
when I want to write about
the way the raindrops
dance on my window
and the sound they make
i will know that i am whole.
when I talk about the sun and wine glasses
and your face no longer
blurs the world around me
i will know my cracks have become wildflowers.
but I do not want to be a mirror
and white light
i want to be the shards
that reflect the rainbow
so I will write about you
and your darkness
that breaks me.

There are so many emotions in this poem. Sadness, hope, courageness. Well done!! I particularly like the “drip from my mind / in ink / into my fingers” lines both because of the weight held in the line breaks as well as the image itself.
Great job on this piece❤️💯
