As darkness falls, her dreams escape,
In hallways of her mind to traipse
In scarlet hues, she paints her blues,
Awakening dawn to pay her dues.
๐น
In shapeless days and nightโs obsessed,
She wandered through lifeโs bloody mess
In fields of stone, she laid her wreaths,
Her mistress smiled and bared her teeth...
๐น
Nirvana blooms like sweet perfume,
Hope drifts like misty clouds in June
Dust-fairies dance in vacant rooms,
Like hummingbirds among the gloom.
๐น
Once suckled from a silver spoon,
She bleeds beneath the waning moon
Strolling through years of buried truth,
Whispering secrets to her muse...
๐น
Desire roars, she scratches deep,
Denial screams in dreamless sleep
She dares not curse her path of sin,
The cloak of night, her second skin.
๐น
She wears her worth upon her sleeve,
Retreating โneath her breath to grieve
Though all seems broken, dead, and gone,
Her ink-bled words will linger on...
