Shake My Blues Away

Trilogy Pt I

By Conrad IlesiaPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

[Intro - Guitar Solo]

She wake me in the morning early

Surpise me in the middle of the day

Come to my door in her skin tight skirt

And she shake skake shake my blues away

She steal my blue suede shoes

But I say that’s all right that’s okay

She steal my Buddy Guy record of blues

But then she shake shake shake my blues away

She take all the day I had and all my plan

She hears me talk but don’t hear a thing I say

She say she likes me when I’m a sharp dressed man

Then my baby shake shake my blues away

[Bridge]

I only want to be me, just me

Nobody else shaking your tree

I only want to be free, to be free

I love you, see, can’t you see

She say you good, she bad to the bone

Then she leave when I want her to stay

I say without you I never wanna be alone

So she shake shake shake my blues away

[Break - Guitar Solo]

She say she love me but sometimes I wonder

Lord I get on my knees and then I pray

She in that red house over yonder

Then she come and shake shake shake my blues away

[Coda]

I only want us to be free, free

I love you, see, don’t you see

love poems
