Shadows of Success

I got success,
for my age,
It is being the smartest of the known.
behind it,
are sacrifices,
which had come from pure sweat and blood,
sacrificing happiness,
But after all that,
All I get is hatred, jealousy, and discomfort.
None saw the time I put into work and effort,
But the time I spent relaxing.
Not the achievements,
But failures.
Not the improvements,
But the setbacks.
Each achievement I come with,
It is always an "Only this much?"
If only one day,
Just one day,
Everything negative would disappear,
And everyone would acknowledge my achievements.
Till then,
I'll be waiting,
not giving up,
working hard,
giving it my all,
kicking away all the hate,
and living my life to prove them wrong,
to prove their hatred wrong.
