A Distraction Acrostic

Deep within my mind

I probe for answers

Seeking solace in logic

Theory, fact, history, life, death

Reality as we know it

Always going off on a tangent

Could she still be there?

Taking joy in my solitude

I only know she’s not here

Over there! A familiar silhouettte

No…, just the shadow of a memory

heartbreak
