So when the voices come,
They go, as swiftly
Uninvited, they come
Always,
And from nature?
Birds, wind, water, tree, roots
Fire
Breathe, Breath
Into your heart, meld with nature's rhythm
Observe,
Listen, Feel
"I can't," I say
What stirs within, what do you feel?
"I can't," I say
You've been taught to ignore it and
Pretend it isn't there.
But that's choosing the lighter sword of life
What arises from turning away from what lies within? (He asks)
Destruction. (He declares)
So face it—the darkness, the whispers, the heaviness
It obstructs you from being your true self
Embrace it
Look inside with a clear heart, Move with it
The part of you that remained unknown
The very essence that never dared step into the light
Face that heaviness,
Give it a name (He said)
“Fear, Loss, Pain”, I say
It isn't the pain that shatters us, (He said)
It’s what we do-the lengths we go to evade it
If it Breaks, you...
Then break, crack (He whispered)
Allow your own torment to mold you into a perfect crucible
To transform you into a perfect instrument of Fate and
Destiny.
For that who you are. (He whispered)
