I write on pages where shadows fall.
Words that disappear when the light moves fast.
Each line is a whisper, a secret wish.
A map of the self that no one will find.
I tuck my doubts into quiet corners.
Hoping they’ll stay where no one looks.
The ink shivers, shy and weak.
A mirror of the world inside me.
No one will follow these hidden paths.
No voice will speak my hidden words.
And perhaps that’s where they’re meant to be—
Between the lines, I stand strong.

About the Creator
Emily
Poem lover, word collector, and believer in the quiet magic of language. I write to remember, to heal, and to find beauty in the spaces between silence and sound. Every poem is a heartbeat — a small proof that feelings can become art.
