Shades of My Galactic Soul

A Poem About My Colors of Life

By Leona ValentinePublished 5 years ago 3 min read

The diversity of my soul lives limitlessly.

My infinite energy shifts with little strive.

While the bleak spirit reveals my pain,

The buoyant one promotes my pride.

The versatility of my dynamism reveals.

It can be so desirable or deeply negative.

My soul has different shades of galaxy.

Colors of my life is immensely imperative.

Blue is my freedom I greatly value.

There are many options I ponder.

I see chances to become, speak and do.

I dream of many places to wander.

It is the honesty I live by.

False demeanor pierces my mind.

Deceivers enrage my soul.

Nobility weakens the bind.

It is my vivid sincerity I express.

Why am I so compassionate?

Does my deep melancholy commune?

I see why my kindness has no limits.

It is my senses I explore.

It is my intuition that pokes me.

It is the calmness that brings me joy.

No wonder I love the sky and the sea.

It is also my negativity that I unleash,

And my sadness that shows my pain.

It is my timidity that occasionally appears,

And my sensitivity that usually remains.

Red is the love that I communicate.

It is my bold passion I have within.

It is my radiance that shepherds my being.

It is my joy that I strongly try to win.

It is my sexuality that playfully bursts.

It is the lust that creates my fantasies.

It is the excitement I chiefly imagine.

It is the heat between my soulmate and me.

It is the intensity of my assumptions.

It is my energy that frequently shifts.

It is the stern desire living in my heart.

It is the determination that makes me persist.

It can also be my yearning due to the lack.

It is the stress that changes into anger.

It is the agitation that becomes my anxiety.

It is my impulsion that can lead to danger.

Pink is the sweetness in my nature.

It is my affection that comes out.

It is the charm that makes me smile.

It is the romance I dream about.

It is my femininity that I worship.

High couth energy makes me a goddess.

Self-love makes me puissant.

Yet, I usually end up being modest.

It is the relaxation that humbles me.

It is the harmony I appreciate.

It is my peace that I usually seek.

It is the serenity I always chase.

It is the friendships I love to cherish,

But that can also be a big failure.

My gentleness can also be my weakness,

And that can darken my behavior.

Purple is the mystery deep in my soul.

It is the magic that triggers a surprise.

It is my independence that makes me limitless.

It is my mind, body, and soul that re-energize.

My creativity is my escape from tribulations.

It is my imagination that delights me.

As I write my stories or paint my world,

I get lost in my deep and inner reality.

It is my spirituality that sways my subconscious.

It is the one that awakens my higher self.

It is my third eye that governs my lucidity.

It is my wholeness that attracts my wealth.

It is my wisdom that keeps me going.

It is my paramount hunger for knowledge.

It traditionally fuels my ambition,

But the lack dampens my courage.

It is also the frustration caused by hindrance.

It is my severe moodiness that alters me.

It is my impatience for rectifications.

My apathy restricts me from society.

The colors within are big pieces of me.

Maybe it is why I have different goals.

Blue, red, pink, and purple are all I see.

The sight of the dark sky mirrors my soul.

Whether I abruptly shift from love to ire,

Or sporadic events adjust my personality,

There is one thing that will always exist,

And that is my true colors of the galaxy.
