If I were a rainbow, I would cast only shades of blue, the lightest to the darkest in translucent hue.

The shades included would be many, collected down through the years, expressings joys and sorrows, some smiles mixed with tears.

Although a rainbow is usually a sign of hope for some, it may simply represent a means to overcome.

Usually spannning rather wide from side to side, beginning to end. It can be as welcome as a dear friend.

However, depending on the shade most noticably being viewed; our emotions upon seeing it, may sometimes be confused.

Bright colors can have a varying effect, as red causes anger, which is easy to detect. Black is identifed with darkness and death. White is generally considered all that is pure; but not in every case; of that we can be sure.

When thoughts turn to things that cause us to feel secure, of this you can be sure; shades of Blue are by far the winning hue. Nothing is more soothing than I clear sky of Blue, and the cooling clear Blue stream, in the meadow passing through.

Sometimes when we are feeling down, we may say we’re kinda blue; but then we are reminded the happiness returns on the wings of a bird that is blue!

The next time there is a rainbow of many colors against a sky of blue, look closely and realize its nothing without “blue”!

Oh yes, if I were a rainbow, I certainly choose to be all Blue, because after all, that is the only connection now, between me and you!
