Oh tortured souls, by yearnings hold oppressed
Break free from this intoxicating quest.
Seek strength within, rise above the hazed
Embrace true freedom, find a purer gaze
Unravel from her grasp, reclaim your might, and in liberation discover light
No longer bound by lust unyielding snare,
Ascend with grace, a love beyond compare
Though passion dance may tempt and mesmerise
Resist the chain that tarnish truths reprise
For in self mastery, love essence thrives
And through restraint a soul forever strives
So let the man find solace in release, and in his freedom find a lasting peace
No longer tethered to that torrid flame,
He will soar above, untarnished by the same
Thus let this sonnet be a guiding creed,
To conquer lust and rise above the greed
In self control the heart find its true way
A love unshackled flourishing each day.
