As the month of rainbow capitalism comes to an end

Heatwaves drive everyone on the Northem Hemisphere on the bend

We’ve been training all our lives to love and defend

ourselves from those who we naturally offend

If only they knew the hate that they discreetly send

Will only prevent us getting on the mend

I promise you I am valid just like you, and I do not intend

To be someone that I am not and simply be a dormat blend

I must go out and transcend

and splash out on the only currency worth to spend

All I want is to be your friend

love poems
