Setting My Soul Free

Home is where my nest ly,

its the place where my chicklins fly.

Here I feel no disgrace, I can walk freely in my own space.

When my feet hits that door I shed all hatred.

Theres no color here to discriminate.

No one I need to hide from my true face.

As I lay my head on my pillow and pray I fall asleep and lose the day.

Theres no one here to pick me apart like a trees leaves on a cold fall day.

Here I can stand tall like the warm sunny rays.

Standing strong like the branches through these harsh seasonal days.

If you ask me what Home means to me,

Its the part of my day when I set me soul Free.
