Serene
Calming imagery from nature
River flowing down a winding path
caressing and eroding the earth gently
brushing green as it flows past
maintains life. Growth, plenty
-
Frogs leaping on water lilies
ripples expanding. Endless
a dragonfly trespasses
and into the frog’s mouth it goes. Defenceless
-
A bear washes the day’s trouble away
the river flowing strong
it cools its grizzly neighbour down and sways
around him and flows along
-
Salmon swimming against the stream
to lay its offspring it seems
as they go up a small waterfall
a claw swipes, and that’s its downfall

The circle of life. And it moves us so. The pic is really calming. Further downstream we too, are eating some salmon.
